Carlos M. Martinez and Harvey Wolfman are partners in the BCH Group and together they manage a team of highly trained and specialized public adjusters located in Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, Texas, Maryland, Delaware, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Nebraska. Together, they bring over thirty years experience as adjusters in South Florida.
Mr. Martinez and Mr. Wolfman are large loss experts specializing in multimillion dollar commercial claims, such as: hotels, professional buildings, condominium associations, and marine claims, as well as insurance appraisals and mediations.
They are expert consultants and appraisers to other public adjusting firms and attorneys in Florida and the Gulf Coast area, but can assist clients in any other state as well.
Together they have handled claims for more than 200 insurance carriers, including: The Hartford, Tower Hill Insurance Group, and Citizens Property Insurance Corporation, Prudential Insurance, Ohio Casualty Insurance, Crawford & Company, Totura & Company, Engle Martin & Associates and many others.
Mr. Martinez and Mr. Wolfman have both attended all National Flood Insurance Program certification courses for all types of flood losses. Mr. Martinez is certified for mold inspections.
Mr. Wolfman serves on the board of directors of Florida Association of Public Insurance Adjusters (FAPIA).
Carlos Martinez and Harvey Wolfman have passed the Haag Engineering Roof Inspection exam and are now "Haag Certified Residential Roofing Inspectors".
Richard Deckert, President of The BCH Group North, has been a Public Adjuster and Loss Consultant since 2004. Currently licensed in Maryland, Delaware, Florida and Louisiana. He has over 20 years of experience in investigating and adjusting both personal and commercial property and business income losses. Mr. Deckert was selected to work large business losses in New York after 9/11. He has worked hurricanes in many states including North Carolina, Florida, Louisiana and Texas as well as the Virgin Islands. He has qualified as an expert on property claims and is a Loss Appraiser, Loss Consultant, Lecturer and Published Author.
Richard Schwartz, has been a Public Adjuster and Loss Consultant since 2005.
He is currently licensed in the State of Florida. He has over 36 years of investigating
losses and has extensive experience (34 years) in the area of Fire related Losses
(building, marine and vehicle). He has worked on claims throughout the Southeastern
United States and in the Caribbean Basin.
Mr. Schwartz has lectured and taught Fire Investigation Analysis and is also
a qualified Florida Windstorm Umpire.
